World of Warcraft PvP is apparently in a bad state. There are statistics to prove that the participation in WoW PvP has significantly dropped.
The image above is a chart of the games played per week by the top 5000 players. In season 2, there were 69,922 lobbies of solo shuffle and 44,000 for 3s.
In season 3, the numbers are significantly lower. Just 22,145 lobbies of Solo Shuffle and 36,872 for 3s.
Why is WoW PvP Dying?
- Blizzard is not making enough efforts to improve PvP. If we compare between Mythic Plus and PvP, Mythic Plus has a significantly higher number of players than PvP.
- New battlegrounds are not being added to the game.
- Not enough players to do rated battlegrounds.
- Solo Shuffle queues are very long. This makes casual Solo Shuffle players to quit.
- The rating system needs to be fixed.
